Founding School

Rudolf Steiner started the first Waldorf school in Sttutgart, Germany in 1919. Steiner accompanied the young school with multiple lectures that provided pedagogical insights and resources. With this support and the willingness of the school’s teacher body to develop a unique educational philosophy, the school succeeded and many more Steiner schools opened around the world.

Helping Initiatives Thrive with Pedagogical Support

Educational guidance and support is vital to the success of new initiatives. Waldorf Inspired offers consulting and training to support young or well stablished schools along the way with resources and practical advise and experiencial training. Regardless of the school’s location, we will strive to meet the school’s needs via online training or in person seminars. Our programs range starting from basic support such as forms and needed documents or lessons. We could follow the school growth with yearly teachers’ pedagogical training. Additionally, we will provide ongoing administrative and pedagogical support.

Administrative Resources

The administration of every school represents the door to the families seeking a great pedagogy for their children. Waldorf Inspired has the tools and resources to get your school started on the right path. We will be along the way in this process providing consulting and support for initiatives or community groups with registration steps, tuition forms, hiring staff, volunteering program, drafting policies and more.

Community Life

“A healthy social life is found only when, in the mirror of each soul, the whole community finds its reflection, and when, in the whole community, the virtue of each one is living.” ~ Rudolf Steiner

The Lanterns during Martinmas light the path of the school community

The community life is a key component in a healthy school. Developing cohesiveness between families and teachers along with a cultural and academic rhythm that nurtures the child’s educational path is the foundation for a healthy social life in a child. We support initiatives with festivals planning, communication between school and families, suggesting activities to involve families in the school’s life.

Calendar and Schedules

In Waldorf schools around the world, rhythm – daily, weekly, yearly – pervades school life. Through festivals and celebrations a School feeds the soul of the child, families, teachers and unites the community. Some of the festivals are small events – just the teachers and their class. Others include the whole school community. By celebrating through art, music, and history, the passing of the seasons and the cosmos’ influence on earth, we can deepen the connection to the working rhythms of nature. Waldorf Inspired creates a weekly schedule and a yearly calendar that best suits your school.

Helping Initiatives Thrive Crafting Lessons

In Waldorf principles, educating a child’s heart and will as well as the mind makes education complete. Consequently, crafting lessons thoughtfully with a mind, heart and hands as the focus of rhythm, creates a healthy flow. We observe this flow in he daily and weekly structure. This goal is accomplished intrinsically. Waldorf Inspired, helping Waldorf Initiatives thrive, assists with customized lessons. Hence, we plan the block rotation and lessons considering the seasons and festivals to your specific location. Early childhood weaves morning circles and stories with poems, movement and songs. These circles support the natural sequence of the weather and cosmos. Likewise, grades lessons follow the curriculum in main lesson, art, handwork, foreign language and more supporting the development of the children.
